Plot:

The second Chhattisgarhi film 'Ghar Dwar' is basically based on a family story. According to the information given by the film's producer, late Shri Vijay Kumar Pandey's successful son Shri Jaiprakash Pandey and today's veteran artist Shri Shivkumar Deepak, who was an important part of this film, the main characters include Dulari Bai (mother), Kan Mohan (elder brother), Ranjita Thakur (elder brother's wife), Zafar Ali Farishta (younger brother), Geeta Kaushal (younger brother's wife), Basant Diwan (accountant), Iqbal Ahmed Rizvi (broker) and Shivkumar Deepak (younger brother's wife's maternal uncle). Apart from this, the most notable fact is that late Shri Vijay Pandey himself has played a brief role of a Seth of Raipur in this film . According to the story, the father of both the brothers in the central role dies in their childhood. Their mother brings up both the sons by working hard. The elder son lives his life between farming and household responsibilities. The elder brother and mother together send the younger brother to the city (Raipur) for studies. The younger son, who returns from here after studying, becomes the cause of discord in the house due to bad company in the city. He marries from the city itself and returns to the village, his wife's cunning maternal uncle also comes along with him. Circumstances become such that due to domestic discord, the days of misery come. In the meantime, the mother also leaves this world. The elder brother comes to the city with his wife and earns every penny by driving a rickshaw. Here he meets a kind-hearted and generous businessman, who is an old friend of his father. This businessman supports him. The story takes a new turn and the ancestral house in the village is about to be auctioned. In such a situation, the businessman reaches the village with the elder brother and buys the house by placing the last bid himself and returns after handing it over to both the brothers.
